Introducing: River & Rye

We’re so excited to finally, formally introduce River & Rye! River & Rye is a gathering place located in the heart of Jamaica, Vermont. Our space houses a restaurant, bar, and six-bedroom inn.

We’re inspired by our community, our food system, and our desire to support a thriving rural economy. Our food and drinks are simple and delicious and integrate local products wherever possible.

The vision for River & Rye comes from a family with deep roots in Jamaica and a respect for what the community and its surrounding nature have to offer. They built this space with the intention of sharing what they love about this community with friends new and old.

Emma Spett and Andrew Baldracchi operate River & Rye, infusing their love of good food and vibrant community into the business. They come to Jamaica from Burlington, VT with a diverse skillset: Andrew has worked in restaurants, breweries, and bakeries in Vermont, San Francisco, Chicago, and Maine. Emma specializes in rural community and economic development. Together, we’re building a place where neighbors and visitors alike can come and enjoy each other’s company.
